Kris Aquino has once again faced a serious health setback shortly after being discharged from the hospital, as she shared updates about her condition on Instagram.

The television host and actress revealed that she has been experiencing fever and persistent coughing since last week, alongside ongoing complications related to her autoimmune diseases. Her condition reportedly worsened after undergoing methotrexate injectable chemotherapy, which she said led to increased weakness.

In her post, Kris also shared a photo of an antigen test kit showing a positive result for COVID-19. She explained that her symptoms began soon after she left the hospital and have continued to affect her daily routine.

“I’ve been sick from the time I got out of the hospital, early Sunday. Kuya Josh on Monday started to cough and squeeze last night,” Kris shared in her caption.

She added that she chose to sleep beside her son despite concerns, noting that he was wearing a mask at the time.

“I didn’t want him to feel unwelcome and he was wearing his mask so I slept with him,” she said.

Kris also mentioned that she began feeling weak again shortly after her medical treatment.

She said she underwent methotrexate injectable chemotherapy as part of her ongoing care, which was followed by fever and fatigue.

“I said sleeping is a lost luxury because of my neverending fits of evening coughing,” she added.

The actress also posted a photo of a medical staff assisting her with an injection while she rested in bed. She used Justin Bieber’s song “Never Say Never” as background music, reflecting her message of resilience.

Despite her condition, Kris assured her supporters that she continues to fight through her health challenges and remains determined not to give up on her recovery journey.
