The "Unkabogable Star" Vice Ganda recently traveled to Naga City to headline the 1st Isarog International Hot Air Balloon and Music Festival 2026, upon the personal invitation of Mayor Leni Robredo. The event drew massive crowds, many of whom traveled from outside the city just to witness the TV host-comedian’s performance.

During a shared moment on stage, Mayor Robredo expressed her deep gratitude to Vice Ganda, noting how the comedian agreed to the performance after just a single text message.

"Hindi lang sila lahat taga-Naga. Dumayo sila just for you. Kaya maraming-maraming salamat," Robredo told Vice Ganda.

Vice Ganda responded with equal warmth, emphasizing a commitment to be there whenever the former Vice President calls. "Naga is the heart. You are our heart. You are our hope. We need you to continue hoping for a wonderful future not just for our families but for the entire Philippines," says the comedian.

In a segment that resonated deeply with the audience, Vice Ganda voiced a plea for the Mayor to reconsider her stance regarding the 2028 national elections. The comedian highlighted the peace of mind and joy felt by the people in Naga, contrasting it with the hardships faced in other parts of the archipelago.

"Sana lahat tayo, sana buong Pilipinas, ganyan araw-araw. Hindi madali ang buhay, may kahirapan pero malaking bahagi ng mga puso natin ‘yung gaan at saya," Vice Ganda shares.
