Phenomenal superstar Vice Ganda has officially addressed the lingering questions regarding her future in the entertainment industry and the persistent calls for her to enter the political arena. Despite the grueling demands of her daily schedule, the comedian clarified that the word "retirement" is currently not in her vocabulary, ABS-CBN reported.

Staying strong and popular at 50, Vice Ganda shared her thoughts with members of the press, including ABS-CBN News, during a recent media gathering. She acknowledged that while the industry can be exhausting, her passion for her craft remains undiminished.
“The idea of retiring has not crossed my mind yet. Hindi ko pa siya pinag-iisipan. Kayang-kaya ko pa siya. Nakakapagod din pero kayang-kaya ko pa siya at gustung-gusto ko pa siya,” Vice stated.
The "It's Showtime" host further expressed her deep connection with her current projects and her gratitude for the public's continued patronage. She noted that her obsession with her work and her desire to explore new creative avenues keep her motivated.

“I'm so obsessed with what I do now. I'm obsessed with 'Showtime.' Every year, I get so excited to make movies. Gusto ko pang mag-concert. Tsaka mahal pa ako ng audience ko, eh,” Vice added.
Beyond her entertainment career, Vice Ganda also addressed the clamor for her to seek public office in the upcoming elections. While she is a vocal advocate for various social issues, she dismissed the idea of running for a government post with a laugh, suggesting that people should not take those rumors seriously.
However, she did reveal a surprising detail regarding her influence behind the scenes. The superstar admitted that several public officials have sought her perspective on national matters over the years.

“May public officials na nakikipag-usap sa akin from time to time. Kahit naman nung time ni PNoy. Pinapasama niya ako lagi at tinatanong niya ako lagi. Maraming humihingi ng opinyon [ko],” the comedian revealed.
Even without a seat in government, Vice Ganda maintained that she will continue to use her platform to deliver political commentary through humor. She defended the use of satire as a legitimate form of expression, even if it occasionally sparks controversy.
“Bahagi ng komedya ang satire. Tinatanggap ang satire bilang bahagi ng freedom of expression,” she expressed.
