The issue began when a commenter expressed disappointment over Bela supposedly unfollowing Sarah Lahbati, linking the action to Bela's current project, Blood vs. Duty, where she stars alongside Barbie Imperial.
This caught the attention of Bela who was quick to set the record straight, explaining that the unfollow happened long before any new show began.

She also addressed the speculation involving Barbie Imperial, making it clear that her professional life does not dictate who she follows online.
"Don’t make up stories. Also, I don’t know Barbie well enough to unfollow people for her," she added with a laughing emoji.
The actress expressed her frustration with how some fans overanalyze every move on social media. She emphasized that there are much bigger issues in the world than who follows whom on Instagram.
"Dami ng problema sa mundo magdadagdag ka pa ng hindi totoo," Bela pointed out, effectively shutting down the intrigue.
Fans of the actress then praised her for being straightforward and for maintaining a drama-free environment.
