In a recent appearance on the popular YouTube series Pinoy Pawnstars, Ozawa negotiated the sale of a personal item she considers a "lucky charm": a pair of bright pink, seamless undergarments.

The transaction took place during an episode hosted by Jayson Luzadas, widely known as "Boss Toyo," who operates a museum and pawnshop famous for acquiring celebrity memorabilia.

During the segment, Boss Toyo praised Ozawa’s legendary status in the Philippines, noting that her name remains synonymous with Japanese stardom among Filipino fans.

Ozawa explained that the item up for sale was not just a random garment but a "vintage" piece she had worn during several significant milestones in her career, including her very first major public event upon arriving in the Philippines years ago.

"I was wearing this for a long time," Ozawa remarked, highlighting its sentimental value as a token of her success in the country.

The negotiation was a classic Pinoy Pawnstars tug-of-war. Ozawa initially set the bar high, asking for ₱150,000.

Boss Toyo, staying true to his low-balling reputation, countered with a modest offer of ₱10,000.

After a series of counter-offers and playful banter—during which Ozawa signed the item to authenticate it—the two parties eventually settled on a final price of ₱20,500.

Ozawa admitted that her decision to sell was partially inspired by fellow adult film star Eva Elfie, who had previously appeared on the show to sell her own belongings.

Since stepping away from the adult film industry, Ozawa has successfully transitioned into mainstream Philippine media.

She recently earned acclaim for her role in the hit GMA historical portal fantasy series Pulang Araw, where she portrayed Haruka Tanaka, the mother of the character played by David Licauco.

Her appearance on Pinoy Pawnstars serves as another bridge between her "legendary" past and her current status as a local showbiz personality.

Maria Ozawa is a prominent Japanese-Canadian celebrity who initially gained international fame as a leading figure in the adult film industry. Born in 1986 and known early on by her pseudonym, Miyabi, she has since transitioned into a successful mainstream career. Now a resident of the Philippines, she is a recognized entrepreneur, actress, and TV personality with numerous local business ventures.

Two years ago, Japanese actress Maria Ozawa took to social media to react with amusement after her name was unexpectedly mentioned during a popular GMA game show. The mention occurred when actor David Licauco jokingly answered "Ozawa" instead of "Clara" during a fast-paced word association round on Family Feud. Rather than taking offense, Maria shared a clip of the moment on her Instagram story, charmingly labeling the actor as "cute" in her caption. The interaction between the two stars immediately trended online, with fans praising Maria’s good-natured attitude toward the humorous television gaffe.

Previously, the Japanese actress acknowledged that she’s consistently faced and navigated harsh public judgment throughout her career in the Philippines due to her previous professional background. During her past long-term relationship with Chef Jose Sarasola, Maria remained composed despite a wave of online criticism aimed at her personal history. Friends and former partners have often highlighted that Maria values being seen for her true personality rather than her international celebrity image. Although she and Sarasola celebrated several milestones together before their eventual split in late 2021, Maria has always prioritized maintaining a dignified and respectful public presence.
