John Arcilla took to the comments section of an Inquirer's IG post about the dog that was drowned by her owner at the toilet of an airport because she was denied her flight due to the dog.

He said that the woman should be jailed.

The woman at the airport certainly tied to ensure that she gets to board her international flight, hence, she opted to drown the dog.

CCTV footage showed that the woman was at the pre-departure area, ready to board but was turned back due to the presence of the animal.

Thereafter, she was seen getting inside the toilet, but later come out alone.

A janitor later discovered the dog, Tywinn’s lifeless body inside a trash bag in a restroom stall.

The dog’s companion vest, collar, rabies tag, travel bag, and a bone-shaped tag bearing the woman's name and phone number were also found discarded.

Prior to this, the janitor had noticed the woman cleaning up spilled dog food and water in the stall.

A necropsy confirmed that Tywinn had drowned, and authorities identified him via his implanted microchip.

The Orlando Police Department classified the act as intentional and resulting in a "cruel and unnecessary death."

Following an investigation, U.S. Customs and Border Protection confirmed the woman had traveled from Florida to Bogotá, Colombia, before continuing to Ecuador.

She was later arrested upon her return to the U.S. and released on a $5,000 (Php 286,675) bail.
