"P*cha, Lunes na naman," the caption read in Angelica's now-viral photo with the celebrity mom.
In her Instagram story, Angelica posted the said photo and asked Kaye, "Magandang umaga, @kaye_abad, ano nga mga kwento mo dito?" as if reminiscing about their experiences before.
Kaye, on the other hand, did not hold back in giving a funny, witty response to Angelica about her character and commented, "Hahaha! Ang aga ah! Kung ano ang lasa ng buhangin sa Manila Bay."
On the photo-sharing app, many netizens could not help but reminisce over the film as well.
"Grabe, tear jerker, ang galing nilang lahat dito," a netizen wrote, while another one commended the film and its dark but realistic story back then, "Kidding aside, super ganda ng movie na 'to."
Needless to say, both Kaye and Angelica's career in the industry continued to thrive afterward.
Now, the two actresses are now celebrity mommas to their respective adorable children as well.
Angelica now has a beautiful unica hija named Amila Sabine, while Kaye gave birth to Joaquin in 2017 and her son, Iñigo, in 2021.
The Filipino drama film Mila, in which both actresses took part, was headlined by Maricel Soriano and was released back in 2001.
Star Cinema was the one who produced and distributed the film as part of their 8th anniversary.
It tells a meaningful story about a dedicated teacher who continued to persevere despite the challenges she met and faced.
