Kira Balinger’s camp has issued a statement addressing the viral hotel room blind item that sparked widespread discussion and speculation online.

The PBB Celebrity Collab Edition housemate reposted the official statement from her team on her Instagram Story as they sought to clarify her name amid the growing conversation surrounding the blind item.

According to the statement, Kira’s camp acknowledged that the incident described in the blind item did happen. However, they firmly clarified that the actress was not the person involved.

“We are writing this to address the ongoing discussions and widespread rumors on social media about the blind item concerning ‘the leading man of a popular love team being invited to a hotel room by an actress’,” the statement read.

The team then directly addressed the speculation linking Kira to the incident.

“To end the unwarranted harassment, false accusations, and baseless speculations immediately: it was NOT Kira Balinger,” they stated.

The clarification came as discussions about the blind item continued to circulate online, with some social media users attempting to identify the people allegedly involved despite the original blind item not naming anyone.

Kira’s camp also made it clear that they would not identify the individuals connected to the incident.

“In respect to all the artists involved, their management, and their respective fanbases, we won’t be dropping any names or adding fuel to the fire,” the statement said.

The team explained that their decision was made out of consideration for everyone involved while emphasizing that they would not allow Kira’s name to be connected to claims they said were false.

“BUT we will not stand by while Kira’s name is dragged into false claims,” the statement continued.

Her camp also called on social media users to exercise greater responsibility when discussing unverified information online.

“It’s already 2026—so we encourage everyone to be more responsible online and do fact-check before making damaging assumptions online,” the statement read.

The team further pointed out that the original discussion itself included a warning against making assumptions about the identities involved.

“If you have watched the full video, both the host and the guests specifically emphasized not to make assumptions since no names were ever dropped,” the statement said.

Kira’s repost of the official statement therefore served as her camp’s effort to separate her from the speculation while avoiding the disclosure of other individuals’ identities.

The statement ended with an appeal for a more responsible online environment for fans and artists alike.
