Javi Benitez, the mayor of Victorias City, caught the attention of netizens with a cryptic Instagram post on International Women’s Day.
His message, while celebrating strong and empowered women, also carried a sharp remark that has fueled much speculation online.

In his Instagram story, Javi greeted women on International Women's Day but added an exception to his now-viral cryptic online post.
"Happy International Women's Day to all strong and empowered women... except sa mga mahilig manira ng pamilya. Hindi yan empowerment. Respect real queens," the young mayor shared.

The post quickly made rounds on social media, with netizens attempting to decipher whom the pointed remark was also directed at.
However, this is not the first time Javi made headlines back in November 2024 after he joked around about his heart's current state.
This was after he confirmed his breakup with Sue Ramirez in a heartfelt post he had written on his official Facebook page in November.
"Four months have passed since our paths quietly and respectfully went their separate ways. I look back with so much gratitude for the smiles, the laughter, and all the little joys we shared."
Eventually, a few months after the confirmation, Sue was spotted with Dominic Roque afterward.
In December 2024, Dominic casually admitted that he and Sue are already dating one another.
Dominic's last known relationship to the public before Sue was with Bea Alonzo, a Kapuso star, to whom the actor was even engaged also.
