Neri Miranda has arrived at the Pasay RTC Branch 111 earlier today to attend the arraignment.

Based on the report of ABS-CBN, there would also be a pre-trial and hearing for the cases filed against her, particularly for the violation of the Securities Regulations Code.

Together with Neri was her husband, Chito Miranda.

There were also two other men in white barong and holding briefcases, both presumed to be her legal counsels.

It can be recalled that Neri was previously arrested and spent several days in jail due to cases filed against her for the violation of the Securities and Regulations Code and also for estafa.

Neri Naig Miranda, or Nerizza Garcia Presnede Naig-Miranda in real life, is an actress who first gained recognition when she joined ABS-CBN's reality show 'Star Circle Quest.' She was named the 6th runner-up in the talent search. In 2014, she married Chito Miranda, the lead vocalist of the band Parokya ni Edgar.

Recently, a video of Neri Naig Miranda, who is already under the custody of the BJMP, was shared by 24 Oras. The video showed the actress being ushered by BJMP officers. According to the report, she was brought to the Pasay RTC for her arraignment but it was moved to Jan. 9 following a motion to quash that her camp filed. Neri was already in an orange shirt and she has a cap and mask on.

Earlier, the legal team of Neri Naig Miranda released an official statement. It was shared by ABS-CBN, and it underscored how Neri was not informed of the charges against her. The statement also highlighted that similar complaints against her have already been dismissed in other courts. They are also confident that the actress will be vindicated of the charges.
