Arra San Agustin recently had an insightful interview with Boy Abunda on Thursday's episode of "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda."

Among the questions asked of the Kapuso actress was about the rumors that she had a romantic relationship with Paolo Contis.

"Nagkaroon ka ba ng relasyon kay Paolo Contis?" the Asia’s King of Talk asked.

"No. Hard no," Arra quickly answered.

She then narrated how said rumors surfaced.

"Nag-start po kasi yan sa 'Tahanang Pinakamasaya.' So mayro'n po kaming skit do'n, 'TP Happy' yung tawag po, sa dulo po ng segment. So skit siya, nasa stage, love triangle kami – ako, si Kuya Pao and si Kuya Betong. 'Yung mga tao, they cut out pictures of me and Kuya Paolo tapos gumawa sila ng mga articles, like mga headlines na ako daw 'yong third party. So, nag-start po 'yan last year. I think it was also this time year, around this time din. Tapos, for some reason, nag-resurface po siya, itong fake news na 'to. Fake 'yung source."

Arra went on to lament over how fabricated news and false information can spread widely across social media.

"I don't know why karamihan sa mga tao naniniwala. And which is also dangerous with social media. Because ang daming fake news, ang daming disinformation. Parang we can easily be manipulated or gaslighted by a single headline lang na hindi naman pala totoo."

"Wala silang nakikitang pictures, video, footage naming dalawa ni Kuya Paolo casually hanging out together without the TP fam," the actress stressed.

Arra, who clarified that she and the actor are just friends, further underscored, "Ang tagal na po naming magka-work, since 'Bubble Gang,' first show ko po 'yun. Wala naman."

Paolo Contis is a Filipino actor and comedian who appeared in his acting debut in the ABS-CBN comedy show "Ang TV". Paolo is also known for being part of the primetime comedy series "Oki Doki Doc". He has won several awards, particularly at the PMPC Star Awards. His celebrity ex-partners include Lian Paz and LJ Reyes.

It can be recalled that aside from being a showbiz columnist, Manay Lolit also manages several known showbiz personalities. In her recent post, she expressed her wish that Paolo would have soon. She said that it would be a dream come true for her talent if such wish is realized.
