Coco Martin is an actor, director and producer in the Philippines. He is much admired for his performance as Ricardo Dalisay in FPJ: Ang Probinsyano which lasted on air for seven years. At the end of that series, Coco rested for a few months and returned to Batang Quiapo.

In a previous report by KAMI, Coco Martin revealed he was rejected twice by ABS-CBN many years ago. In an interview with Ogie Diaz, the actor-director-producer said the network excluded him from projects because of his past image. He also admitted being at the receiving end of insults because of his past image. This was before he was given a break that eventually launched his stellar acting career.

Earlier, during the interview with Ogie, the actor-director-producer also revealed he spent P11 million to demolish the house he built for his family due to a faulty design. He also said he gave one house each to her siblings, mother, father, and stepfather so that they could live well. Coco also built a new residence for the family in a village after a dispute arose even though they were in the same compound. The actor-director-producer revealed he made made sure that his siblings were treated equally at work and at home to maintain respect and discipline.
