Rufa Mae Quinto, an actress, has finally released an official statement regarding her involvement in a scam issue with a skincare company.
On Tuesday, December 3, Sparkle GMA Artist Center released Rufa Mae's official public statement about the issue she is currently involved in.
According to the actress, she has no connection whatsoever to any fraudulent activity, and that she is actually a victim as well in the issue.
"I want to take this opportunity to address the recent allegations that have been circulating regarding my involvement in a scam issue. Let me state this unequivocally: I have no connection whatsoever to any fraudulent activity and I categorically deny these baseless accusations. If anything, I am also a victim and I am determined to seek justice," Rufa's statement read online.

By the end of her post, Rufa promised that she will "cooperate fully" with the authorities to face the issue "through the proper legal forum."
"I will cooperate fully with the authorities and face this issue through the proper legal forum. Rest assured, I will fight for my name and reputation. To those who have extended their love and support, I am grateful. Let us allow justice to take its course, and I humbly ask for your patience and understanding as the truth unfolds," the statement read in Sparkle's official Instagram post.

Rufa Mae Quinto is a Pinay actress and comedian. She was born on May 28, 1978. She has also hosted TV shows and recorded music. Rufa’s showbiz career started after she secured a spot in That’s Entertainment in 1996.
As previously reported by KAMI, Rufa Mae Quinto dedicated a hilarious post to Carlos Yulo. On her Instagram page, the comedienne congratulated the two-time Olympic gold medalist. In her post, Rufa Mae shared a funny clip from the “Super B” movie. Super B, played by Rufa Mae, and other characters were seen doing several backflips in the said clip.
Meanwhile, Rufa Mae Quinto became emotional because of her daughter, Athena Magallanes. On her Instagram page, Rufa shared that Athena recently received a 'Noteworthy Learners' award. This made Rufa gush over her daughter, lauding Athena for her new school achievement. She also admitted that she always cries whenever she watches her daughter's video.
