Isko Moreno, in a Facebook live stream, took time to thank those who joined him and his running-mate, Chi Atienza, when they filed their Certificate of Candidacy yesterday, October 8.

The former Mayor and presidential aspirant is staging a comeback for his old office as Mayor of the City of Manila, while Ms. Atienza is running for Vice-Mayor.
In the video, Isko admitted that he and Chi were overwhelmed at the tremendous amount of support they received during the filing of their COCs.
“Kumusta kayo? Magandang gabi po sa inyong lahat. Nag-live po ako kasi, well una, salamat sa Diyos ligtas tayong lahat kahapon. Nagpapasalamat ako sa bawat isa sa inyo, lalong lalo na, most of you went there on your own. Na-overwhelm kami ni Chichi Atienza kahapon. Grabe,” Isko said in his live video.

He also expressed surprise as he didn’t expect such a huge crowd that gathered in support of the two.
“Hindi ko sukat akalain mga batang Maynila naglabasan lahat. Pinuno nyo yung Aroceros tsaka SM. Grabe. Wagas ang pagmamahal nyo. Thank you very much sa bawat isa sa inyo,” Isko added.
The former Mayor is running against his former ally, incumbent Mayor Honey Lacuna.

A couple of weeks ago, Isko shared a photo of him and famous cardiologist and 2022 vice presidential candidate, Doctor Willie Ong, oftentimes referred to as “Doc Willie” or “Doc Willie Ong.” It can be recalled that the famous doctor recently revealed that a tumor called “sarcoma” with a shocking size of 16 by 13 by 12 centimeters was discovered in his stomach, causing him great pain. In Isko’s post, the former mayor and presidential candidate, said Doc Willie is still very weak and still needs to undergo several chemo sessions. Isko also shared in his post the message of Doc Willie to his supporters and those who believe in him.
He also expressed sadness over Doc Willie Ong's current health condition. The cardiologist recently revealed that he is battling abdominal cancer. According to a report by GMA News' Balitambayan, Isko stated he is hoping for Doc Willie's recovery. The former Manila mayor also shared his uplifting message for the doctor.
