Jesi Corcuera, a transman, shared his pregnancy journey through artificial insemination. He shared his story during an interview with Boy Abunda on 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.'

Jesi stopped taking hormone therapy in 2022 to prepare for pregnancy and went through four attempts at artificial insemination before succeeding.

"Actually po, bago kami mag-together again, nauna yung plano ko na magka-baby na," Jesi said.

At first, Jesi planned to try in vitro fertilization (IVF), but it wasn't allowed for LGBTQ couples in the Philippines.

"Noong time po na 'yon, IVF ang plano ko... hindi po siya na-push through," Jesi explained.

He took extra care and consulted doctors to ensure the safety of his pregnancy.

"Kaya yung in the making talaga ni Baby, halos three years. Kasi, sa decision-making pa lang, sobrang hirap na for me dahil ang dami kong dapat i-consider,” Jesi added.

Now, Jesi is happily expecting a baby with his partner, Camille. He mentioned that he didn’t experience any strong cravings except wanting to be with Camille often.

It was back during their Starstruck days when Paulo and Jesi were paired for an acting challenge. During his 'Fast Talk with Boy Abunda' guesting, the proud "transdad" also talked about his pregnancy and dealing with harsh comments from bashers.

It can be recalled that Jesi Corcuera announced on his social media account that he's pregnant - It's his first child, and he already has a nickname for his coming baby, “Ninja.” He also mentioned that he started trying to have a child back in 2018. The former PBB housemate also shared some photos of him showing his baby bump.
