Niño Muhlach attended the senate hearing on policies of television networks, artist management agencies and there recounted the alleged assault of his son, Sandro Muhlach.

He broke down in tears as he narrated the traumatic experience that Sandro allegedly went through in the hands of the two independent contractors of GMA.

Out of the two names, Niño pointed out Jojo Nones, because he said they worked together in a teleserye.

He also revealed that Sandro told his brother, Alonzo Muhlach first before he was able to tell him.

Sandro Muhlach, whose full name is Allessandro Martinno M. Muhlach, is the eldest son of veteran actor and former child star Niño Muhlach. He started as a theatre actor when he was 13 years old and he is now a Kapuso artist.

Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz's camp has issued a statement on Sandro Muhlach's complaint against the two GMA independent contractors. In a "Chika Minute" report on "24 Oras" on Thursday, Nones and Cruz's legal counsel Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque said her clients are deeply saddened by the "serious allegations" hurled against them. Abraham-Garduque said the "allegations do not mirror the true accounts of the event" and that they will respond to the complaint in a proper forum.

Sandro's latest post on his Instagram feed is gaining new comments. The post published more than a week ago contains a set of photos of him flaunting his GMA Gala 2024 look. In the caption, the Kapuso artist penned "Moments before" and a black heart emoji. Many netizens flocked to the comments section of the post and penned supportive messages for Sandro.
