"I've never cheated on anyone. I've never been the third party in any relationship to my knowledge."

However, she firmly maintained that she would never intentionally come between two people in a relationship.

And just to see also my parents' reactions to seeing some of the comments, parang I also feel hurt for them. To see that I'm being called these names when it's not true."

Before speaking publicly about the issue, Thea said she initially preferred to remain silent and hoped that the controversy would eventually fade on its own.
