Ruffa Gutierrez expressed her appreciation for Claudine Barretto for personally extending her condolences to the Gutierrez and Uichico families.

The said families are currently mourning the death of Alexa Uichico-Gutierrez, who recently passed away after battling leukemia.

On her Instagram page, Claudine shared photos and a clip showing her and the Gutierrezes at the wake.

"My deepest condolences to the Uichico & Gutierrez Family. Thank God, nakahabol ako sa wake of Alexa. The Gutierrez's are like family to me ever since I was a little girl."

"I was to stay 2 more days sa Cebu but I told Tita @annabelleramaig na uuwi ako earlier for Alexa's wake. My flight was super delayed, I arrived around midnight & went straight to the wake," Clau narrated.

Yilmaz Bektas, the ex-husband of Ruffa Gutierrez, took to Instagram to express his, and his family's deepest sympathies to Ruffa and her family. The businessman noted that they share the pain of the loss of the family of the Gutierrezes. He offered their condolences to the whole family as well. "May your soul rest in peace..." said Yilmaz.
