On Saturday, September 26, Heart and other celebrity guests discussed whether it is acceptable for a man to borrow money to fulfill his partner’s dream wedding.
The celebrity teams generally agreed that couples should keep their wedding practical rather than going into debt. Team YASRAIN’s Yasmien Kurdi and Rainier Castillo favored saving money for their future instead.
“Honestly, sa panahon ngayon, hindi praktikal na mangutang pa para lang ipakita o i-treat ang ibang tao. Kasi kayo naman ang mangangailangan ng pera 'yan,” Yasmien advised.

Team BRIÑAS, composed of drag queens Brigiding and Viñas de Luxe, also shared the same view.
“Kasi hindi mo kailangang mangutang para patunayan ang pagmamahal mo sa isang tao,” Brigiding answered.
Heart agreed with the two teams, particularly on the idea that women should not put unnecessary pressure on their partners to finance an extravagant wedding.
Baus Rufo also reminded couples to prioritize their finances over a lavish celebration.
“Simplehan lang. Kasi, jusko, mangungutang ka [para sa] dream wedding, tapos 'yung honeymoon n'yo magiging nightmare. Ang dami n'yong utang! Ayaw natin iyon.”
He also emphasized that genuine support from loved ones should not depend on having an expensive wedding.
Janeena Chan similarly said that avoiding long-term debt should be prioritized over having a dream wedding.
“Yes, a wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Pero kung poproblemahin mo your whole lifetime ang utang, naku, 'wag na tayo diyan. Dream ang wedding ang one day pero mas dream life ko ang life na walang utang,” Janeena said.
Before the answer was revealed, however, it was Heart who delivered one of the most direct reminders of the discussion.
“It's okay to be in love, but also be smart. 'Wag kang tatanga-tanga dahil sa pag-ibig,” Heart said.
Her statement came as the show asked the People to choose between borrowing money for a dream wedding and simply having a more modest celebration.
In the round, 79% of the People chose the simpler wedding option, giving both celebrity pairs points.
