Claudine Barretto has taken to social media to greet her son, Santino, who just turned 17.

On her Instagram page, @claubarretto, the veteran actress recalled the day she gave birth to Santino.

“17years ago July 19,2007 7:44am 7.8pounds Medical city. I gave birth to a son who for 17 years has only brought me immense joy. I gave birth smoothly hardly no pain & out on my 5th push & out u came.”

The celebrity mom went on to tell her beloved child, “Now 17 years later you Santino are my life, protector of mom & esp your Ate, Q, & Noah. Pls grow up to be the Man God made you to be. Never hurt a woman, never hurt anyone.”

Claudine likewise expressed her birthday wish for Santino and reiterated her love for her son.

“May all youre dreams come true my Son.I will do everything in my Power ti help u achieve them. I luv u more than my life.coz you are my Life. Enjoy exploring the world coz thats exactly what I will give u, my son. The world. Belated happy birthday Saint.”

Claudine Barretto is one of the three famous Barretto sisters, which include Gretchen Barretto and Marjorie Barretto. Clau rose to fame when she became a cast of the 90's TV show, "Ang TV." In 1993, she joined the cast of "Home Along Da Riles," which stars comedy king Dolphy Quizon. Other teleseryes that Claudine starred in include "Mula sa Puso," "Saan Ka Man Naroroon," "Sa Dulo ng Walang Hanggan," "Marina," and "Iisa Pa Lamang." She tied the knot with Raymart Santiago in the year 2006, though several years later, the two parted ways.
