Manny Pacquiao, a boxing legend from the Philippines, has mourned the passing of his good friend, Chino Trinidad, on social media.
On Sunday, July 14, Manny took to his official Facebook page to pen a short but meaningful message for the late journalist, Chino.
According to Manny, he is deeply saddened by the loss of one of his good friends, saying Chino was "more than a great journalist" online.
In his online post, the boxing legend called Chino a "true patriot" who loved Philippine sports with all his heart, and how he inspired many.

"Deeply saddened by the loss of my friend, Chino Trinidad. Chino was more than a great journalist; he was a true patriot who loved Philippine sports with all his heart. His honesty and dedication inspired many. Thank you, Chino, for everything. Rest in peace," he wrote.
Earlier, his daughter, Florence Trinidad, confirmed her father's passing. Chino, a journalist, succumbed to a heart attack on Saturday night.
Manny Pacquiao is an eight-division world boxing champion, considered one of the greatest boxers in history. He is married to Jinkee Pacquiao, whom he calls his best friend. Jinkee and the boxing legend have five children – Emmanuel Jr. (Jimuel), Michael Stephen, Mary Divine Grace (Princess), Queen Elizabeth (Queenie), and Israel.
As previously reported by KAMI, Manny Pacquaio shared a series of photos on his Instagram feed. These show glimpses of the graduation ceremony of his daughter, Mary Pacquiao, from high school. Of course, he also shared a photo of Mary along with their family. Furthermore, the former senator captioned his post with, "Congratulations @mpacquiaoo We are so proud of you."
Meanwhile, Manny Pacquiao’s wife, Jinkee Pacquiao celebrated her birthday. The boxing icon took to social media to greet his beloved spouse. On his Instagram page, Manny posted a reel showing a compilation of Jinkee’s lovely snaps. In the caption, he wished his better half a happy birthday and reiterated how much he loves her.
