The Pampanga beauty queen, according to her best friend Lian Dascon in 24 Oras report of Jasmine Gabriel Galban, said that she was very kind and very helpful and that she would always be willing to help in any manner.

"Willing siya parati tumulong, whether emotionally, spiritually at kung ano man pwede niyang maitulong. Kung puwede lang humingi ng wish, palit na lang kami. Ganoon ako ka-willing na ipagpalit 'yung buhay ko kapalit kung nasaan siya ngayon," Lian said.

One could recall that authorities were able to unearth the body of the beauty queen and her Israeli boyfriend Yitzhak Cohen at a quarry in Capas, Tarlac.

The suspects have already been arrested by the authorities and are now under their custody.

Geneva Lopez was a 27-year-old model and beauty queen who was reported missing on June 21, 2024. She was with her boyfriend, 37-year-old Israeli national, Yitzhak Cohen. The two were last seen in Tarlac. On July 6, police authorities say they have found the decomposing bodies of the couple in a quarry site in a faraway barangay in Capas, Tarlac.

In related news, the remains of Geneva's BF, Yitzhak, will be brought by his brother home to Israel. According to a report by ABS-CBN, Yitzhak’s remains will first be brought to a funeral home in Pasay City before it is flown back to Israel. The Israeli, along with Geneva, were both slain and buried in a quarry site in Capas, Tarlac. It can be recalled that last June 21, the two informed their loved ones they were going to meet somebody but were not heard from since then and last July 6, their lifeless bodies were discovered by authorities in the said quarry site.

Meanwhile in a joint press conference of the DILG and PNP, CIDG Chief Maj. General Leo Francisco said the alleged plan to kill Geneva Lopez and Yitzhak Cohen was supposedly hatched a day before the actual crime took place. He said that the killing was planned based on the events that transpired between the two suspects, Michael Angelo Guiang and Rommel Abuza. The CIDG chief also said that Geneva wanted to take back the lot that was pawned to her by Guiang, but the latter does not want to surrender the lot.
