Heart Evangelista is one proud wife as her husband, Sen. Chiz Escudero, took over the Senate Presidency.

On her Instagram page, the actress and fashion icon shared a couple of snaps from Chiz’s oath-taking at the Senate of The Philippines.

Along with the photos, Heart expressed how proud she is of her better half.

“Mr Senate President @escuderochiz. I am so proud of you,” she endearingly wrote.

Heart Evangelista is a Filipina actress, singer, TV host, endorser, visual media artist, philanthropist, socialite, and the former first lady of Sorsogon province. She was born on February 14, 1985, to a Chinese-Filipino father, restaurant mogul Reynaldo Evangelista Ongpauco, and Bicolana Maria Cecilia del Gallego Payawal.

Heart, in a post on social media by GMA News, has shown her full support to her husband Sen. Chiz Escudero by being present at the latter’s oath-taking ceremony. It can be recalled that Sen. Chiz took over the Senate Presidency after Sen. Juan Miguel Zubiri stepped down as Senate President. In the photo, Heart can be seen standing beside her husband as the latter takes his oath before Sen. Mark Villar and the rest of his colleagues.
