Appearing on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda on Thursday, July 17, the two actors spoke honestly about the challenges of living in the public eye. They acknowledged that false stories and harsh comments have become part of their journey as celebrities.
For Dustin, fake news has become something he can laugh about instead of worry over. He shared that whenever he sees unbelievable stories involving him or Bianca, he often brings them up with her.
“Parang pinapakita ko sa kaniya palagi, 'Ano 'to? Kailan 'to? Ba't nila alam, e, ako nga mismo, hindi ko alam na may ganiyan,' or, 'Hindi naman totoo 'yan, bakit sila nakakagawa ng ganu'ng katulad na storya?' Parang nakakatawa, at the same time, kailangan mo na lang din tanggapin.”

The actor said reaching that mindset did not happen overnight, but accepting that fake news is part of the industry has made it easier for him to move on.
Bianca also looked back on the early years of her career, admitting that she used to take online comments personally. She said she constantly worried about how people viewed her, making negative remarks especially painful.
“I'm always so conscious of what people think of me, and I said in an interview before na it actually took me a while in order to build this type of gut. Kasi 'di ba sa industriya natin, patibayan ng sikmura?”
According to the actress, developing emotional resilience took time. As she gained more experience in the entertainment industry, she slowly became better at handling criticism.
She then shared that while the adjustment was difficult at first, she is now in a much better place.
“So ngayon, okay na. But before, siyempre it was hard.”
Their interview highlighted how both stars have grown in dealing with the pressures of fame. Although fake news and online bashing continue to exist, Dustin and Bianca said they no longer allow those issues to define their outlook or affect them the way they once did.
