Reflecting on the complexity of forgiveness, Kathryn remarked, “I don’t know. Ang lalim kasi ng word na forgiveness." She emphasized her belief that forgiveness is reserved for those who deserve it, but clarified that extending forgiveness does not necessarily entail inviting the forgiven party back into one's life.

”When I forgive you, it doesn’t mean that I have to keep you in my life,” she explained. “I forgive you for my peace of mind, for clarity, and for everything. But it doesn’t mean na puwede kang bumalik. It depends."

The Kapamilya superstar elaborated on her perspective, highlighting that while forgiveness is essential for personal growth and closure, it does not mandate reconciliation.

"I’ll just keep my distance; you keep your distance. We’re okay like that. I mean, kunwari, I got hurt, why would I allow you to come back? It depends. It’s a case-to-case basis.”
