Ogie Diaz admitted in a post on the social media platform ‘X’ that he was a bit taken aback when a friend pointed out to him someone whom the latter thought was Sheryn Regis, saying that she’s very beautiful.

The showbiz reporter and talent manager then revealed that it turned out the person his friend was pointing to was not Sheryn, after all, but Sarah Geronimo.

“Kalokah yung friend ko, ‘Tingnan mo, o! Ang ganda ni Sheryn Regis sa new hair niya.’ Sabi ko, ‘Gagah, si Sarah G yan!’” the showbiz reporter said in his post.

Ogie, however, did not give any indication as to the identity of his friend.

Meanwhile, netizens had a field day with Ogie’s post, with one of them guessing as to who could his friend be.

“Si Tita Jegs ba to? Hahaha,” a netizen wrote in reply.

“Papa O grabe proud pinay here iba ang nag iisang SARAH G!” another netizen wrote.

Ogie Diaz is an actor, comedian, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He was known as “Pekto” in the popular TV sitcom, “Palibhasa Lalaki.” He is also behind the YouTube channel “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update.” He became a successful talent manager and once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano.

In a previous post on Instagram, Ogie shared an inspiring message, that everyone could live by. The comedian was reminding everyone that life is actually light. He noted that one must not entertain stress because every time one wakes up, it is already a blessing. Many netizens agreed with Mama Ogs and found his words of wisdom to be very inspiring.

He also previously took to the social media platform 'X' and expressed his surprise at the latest photos of NAIA 3. In the photos posted by ABS-CBN, one could see people sitting on the floor. They were seated at the side to allow passage in the middle of the aisles. He then commented, "NAIA 3 pala yan" because he thought that it looked like an underpass in Quiapo.
