It took awhile for me to write this post because I still can’t accept the fact that you are no longer with us, and putting it into words would make it all too real. But it is.... and it’s heartbreaking.”

You have become more than just a mentor to me; you are my constant source of support and encouragement. When everyone was turning against me, you reached out and said ‘Wag ka matinag. Tuloy mo yang ginagawa mo. Marami kaming naniniwala sayo.’”

She went on to tackle Jaclyn’s honesty.

“Your honesty---always frank, almost brutal---is what I love most about you. You never sugarcoat things – kung ayaw mo, ayaw mo, pag gusto mo, ganon din. ‘Liza, pakiexplain nga tong mga sinasabi mo, di ko maintindihan..’ You will reach out and I will take the time to discuss things with you. I remember during the Eddie Garcia Bill discussions, ang dami mong tanong. So umupo tayo sa gilid and two hours tayong nag-usap. Pero nung nagets mo, ikaw ang number one champion. Basta naniniwala ka, wala kang pakialam kung ano ang sasabihin ng iba. Napakatotoo mong tao. Tita, Mamimiss ko ang mga random messages mo sakin.”

“Philippine Cinema has lost an icon, and we are all mourning your passing as it feels like it happened all too soon. Sabi mo magtratrabaho pa tayo together. Pangarap ko yun,” Liza emotionally continued.

Furthermore, Liza expressed her love and gratitude to Jaclyn, whom she called Tita Jane.
