Andi Eigenmann took to the comments section of a post of Iza Calzado, where the latter was paying tribute to the late veteran actress.

"Love you Ate Iza. Yakap," was the comment of Andi.

Iza posted a heartfelt tribute for Jaclyn, where she recalled the times that they worked together, how they first met, and the feeling that she had when Jaclyn played the role of her mother in a project.

She also fondly recalled how Jaclyn treated her like a daughter.

"You treated me like a daughter and I looked up to you as a mentor and mother. Jane Guck or Nanay Jane I would fondly call you. Our shared love for tequila and rockstars made us click. You were both generous and kind with your words of encouragement and support be it on or off cam. You were also very stern when you needed to be. That’s one of the best things about you — napakatotoo mo."

Jaclyn won the Best Actress award for the film “Ma' Rosa” at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival. She was also known for her roles in the films "Private Show", "White Slavery", and "Santa Juana". Jaclyn was the mother of another famous actress, Andi Eigenmann.
