Singer Jaya took to Instagram to recount a terrifying ordeal she and her companions endured while en route to meet her friends and attend singer Regine Velasquez's concert in the US.

Sharing details of the incident, Jaya wrote, "On a ride from Sacramento, California, on the way to Graton Casin0 to see my friends and watch Regine Velasquez’s concert...when all of a sudden we get into a car collision."

Jaya expressed her gratitude for divine protection, stating, "I am doing ok but my friends are being checked and they will be alright, by God's grace. Thank you Jesus for sending us divine protection and covering us with your blood. It could've been super worse. I'm glad Doc and Auntie Merls are ok."

"Thank you Lord for making it another day. I am grateful for your mercy and grace. Praise your Holy name."

Urging safety precautions, Jaya emphasized the importance of wearing seatbelts at all times, especially for back seat passengers, concluding her post with a heartfelt plea, "Please wear your seatbelts, AT ALL TIMES WHEN YOU ARE IN A VEHICLE, especially if you're a back seat passenger."

Regine Velasquez is a famous singer and host in the Philippines. She is dubbed as the Asia’s Songbird because of her outstanding vocal range. Apart from singing, she has also acted in several films and is also a producer. She is married to singer-songwriter Ogie Alcasid.
