KZ Tandingan opened up about a deeply personal part of her life before marrying fellow singer-songwriter TJ Monterde during their appearance on “Gandang Gabi Vice.”

The celebrity couple joined the third episode of the iconic comedy talk show on Sunday, September 27, where Vice Ganda asked them about their first night as husband and wife following their intimate wedding.
The conversation became more personal when Vice asked the couple about the most memorable thing that happened after their wedding.
TJ recalled how exhausted they were after the ceremony, saying:

“Sabi nila, pagod na pagod ka raw noon after ng kasal.”
He then explained that despite the exhaustion, things did not exactly go according to the usual expectation that newlyweds would simply rest after their wedding.
TJ admitted that he was not exactly a “good boy” during their wedding night, especially since the couple had reportedly waited five years for that moment.
KZ then made a remark that prompted Vice to ask a more direct question about her experience before getting married.
When Vice pointed out that KZ had been a virgin at the time, the singer openly confirmed it.
“Huy, si announce! Yeah, okay. Whatever. I was a virgin,” KZ said.
The revelation also led to another detail about the couple’s relationship. TJ revealed that he was KZ’s first boyfriend, making their relationship her first serious romantic experience.
KZ explained that much of what she knew about relationships came from TJ himself.
“So lahat lang ng alam ko, galing lang ‘yon sa kaniya,” she said.
Vice then jokingly highlighted TJ’s role in KZ’s life beyond being a singer-songwriter.
“Ay taray,” Vice said. “Hindi ka lang pala composer. Mentor ka pa!”

In another report, KZ Tandingan confirmed the story involving her and husband TJ Monterde during their trip to Amsterdam. The couple reportedly entered a store located in the city’s red-light district because they were trying to escape the cold weather. TJ even asked a store attendant about how one of the products worked while they were inside. KZ clarified that despite entering the shop and looking around, they ultimately did not purchase anything.
Meanwhile, KZ Tandingan and TJ Monterde opened up about questions surrounding their plans to have children during their guest appearance on “Gandang Gabi Vice.” KZ explained that she still wants to achieve more of her career goals and continue growing personally before taking on the responsibility of becoming a mother. She shared that she does not want to feel like “a baby taking care of a baby,” emphasizing that raising a child is a lifelong commitment that requires more than financial resources. KZ also revealed that she has been praying to God to help nurture a motherly love within her.
