In a lengthy post on Instagram, Joshua expressed his heartfelt message to the ABS-CBN boss, whom he also considered a mentor and a good friend.

“Sir Deo was not just one of my bosses but he was also someone that I considered as a mentor & a good friend and for that, I want to say my thank yous.”

The Kapamilya actor went on to pen his “thank yous” addressed to Deo.

“Thank you for standing by me, taking a chance on my craft & believing in me despite the constant detestations that I received towards my acting career.”

The 26-year-old celebrity likewise shared how Deo changed his life as an actor.

“Binago nyo po buhay ko bilang actor dahil sa Unbreak My heart at isa yun sa mga pinaka malaking blessings na nakuha ko sa buhay ko.”

Furthermore, Joshua penned his earnest farewell message to Deo. The former also recalled the latter’s memorable birthday celebration last year.

“No goodbyes but rather, a see you again one day. Grateful that you made us part of your special day sometime last year in place that looks like paradise, smiling because you are thankful for the gift called life & surrounded by those close to your heart who all sang to you a Happy Birthday.”

“Rest easy Boss. Marami nag mamahal sa inyo. Salamat ng marami,” Joshua added.

Joshua Garcia is an actor, dancer, and commercial model from the Philippines. He began his acting career in 2015 after appearing as a housemate on the reality show "Pinoy Big Brother: All In." He rose to fame after starring in the top-grossing film of the 2016 Metro Manila Film Festival, "Vince and Kath and James."
