Erik Santos is one of the most acclaimed and lauded singers in the Philippines. He was hailed as the first Grand Champion of the ABS-CBN singing competition Star in a Million Season 1 in 2003. His hit songs include "Kulang Ako Kung Wala Ka" and "Pagbigyang Muli."

Previously, Erik sadly shared on social media the demise of his father, Renato Aquino Santos. Renato, born on November 12, 1952, passed away at the age of 71 last August 10. The OPM star also shared a Bible quote about fighting the good fight, finishing the race, and keeping the faith. Just last December, Erik’s mother, Angelita Ramos Santos, died at the age of 66 due to cancer.
