Erik Santos recently came under the spotlight after a video of his heartfelt performance for his late dad was posted on social media.

On the official page of Star Magic Philippines, they uploaded a reel of the Filipino singer giving it his all as he sang for his late dad, Renato Santos.

In the caption of the post, Star Magic shared that Erik's sibling, Hadiyah Santos, also delivered a heartfelt message for their father.

"Erik Santos dedicates a song and together with sibling Hadiyah Santos delivers a heartfelt message for their late father, Tatay Natz Santos, at the last night of his wake. Star Magic sends its deepest condolences to the family of Erik and Hadiyah," they wrote.

It is worth recalling that news of Renato's passing was confirmed by the singer via an Instagram post. He was 71 years old when he passed away.

Erik Santos is one of the most acclaimed and lauded singers in the Philippines. He was hailed as the first Grand Champion of the ABS-CBN singing competition Star in a Million Season 1 in 2003. His hit songs include "Kulang Ako Kung Wala Ka" and "Pagbigyang Muli."

As previously reported by KAMI, Erik Santos turned a year older recently, and his loved ones prepared a surprise birthday party for him. The singer then posted on social media a couple of videos giving glimpses of the elegant birthday bash. As can be seen in the videos captured by Nice Print Photography, Erik became emotional over the said surprise. Also spotted at the party are his celebrity friends like Robi Domingo, Darren Espanto, AC Bonifacio, Kyla Alvarez, Jolina Magdangal, Vina Morales, and KZ Tandingan.

Meanwhile, Erik Santos and Angeline Quinto’s new pictures together have warmed many netizens’ hearts. On his Instagram page, Erik posted photos where Angeline’s pregnant belly could be noticed. In one of the snapshots, Erik placed his ear against Angeline’s growing baby bump. Erik and Angeline likewise had a conversation quipping about what Erik heard from the bump.
