Anthony Pangilinan and Maricel Laxa's daughter, Hannah Pangilinan stunned her followers on Instagram, Twitter, and Youtube when weird photos and videos were being posted on her accounts.
Her family and friends announced that her accounts were hacked during that time.
Fortunately, she was able to regain her accounts with thousands of followers.
She posted on her Instagram account right after, about what she had been through when it happened.
According to her, it happened so quick and made her cry when she found out.
On the other hand, she realized that she did not have to worry because of God's guidance.
"back on insta mood (yes, i got hacked for a quick minute)
"okay, in all honesty—God revealed so much to me these past few days of having hacked social media accounts... I was overwhelmed with how much happened so fast and cried quite a bit upon finding out," she wrote.
"BUT once i regained my senses, i found peace knowing God held everything in His hands. it gave me so much security knowing that having social media platforms didn’t make me more or less Hannah. so whether or not we got the accounts recovered, i had no doubt that it wouldn’t change my value at all. that’s why amidst this little speed bump i found reasons to be positive."
"it’s because there are things that are more important than having an impressive follower count.
"nevertheless, God reminded me of how these platforms are still blessings (and allow for so many opportunities) to everyone that join me on my journey of life though these lenses, thank you for sticking around despite all the BAD (literally ) thank you to everyone who expressed their love, prayers and worries. thank you to everyone who helped and guided me in the recovery process of my content!"
Hannah also gave tips to the netizens to avoid experiencing the same thing.
She reminded everyone to use 2 step log-in authentication and be careful when opening some sketchy emails.
The young vlogger also mentioned about using different passwords in different social media platforms.
She ended her post with an inspiring bible verse.
