Eddie Garcia’s past interview with Ces Drilon on the ANC program “Pipol” has resurfaced after he died yesterday, June 20, 2019.

KAMI learned that in the said interview, Eddie revealed the tragic deaths of his two children and his wife.

The actor’s eldest son died in 1971 at the age of 22 due to a motorcycle accident.

“My son who died was starring, he appeared in two films before, one with Nora [Aunor] and one with Vilma [Santos], the one who had a motorcycle accident,” he said.

His youngest daughter also died early due to a heart attack.

"And my youngest daughter was 39, and she had a heart attack,” Eddie revealed.

As for his wife, she died in 1995 due to cancer.

“Death is inevitable,” the actor stated.

Eddie Garcia was an actor known for his professionalism, versatility and intensity in acting. He injured his neck and got into a coma after getting into an accident while filming an action scene. Days later, the legendary actor passed away.

KAMI reported earlier that many celebrities expressed on social media their sadness over his death.
