Kathryn Bernardo, during the contract signing with ABS-CBN and Star Magic, gave a heartfelt message to ABS-CBN.

The actress recalled that she made a promise to ABS-CBN before, that she will never leave and would stand by the network until it will be able to rise again.

"Sinabi ko sa kanya [ABS-CBN] na hindi kita iiwan hanggang makabangon ka and today here I am, fulfilling that promise…

"To my ABS-CBN family, this is my second home and alam ko medyo natagalan tayo dito not because dahil iba or hindi dahil sa iniisip niyo."

She also said that the year 2023 wasn't easy for her but because of what she went through, she was able to identify true friends whom she can really depend on.

Kath's mother, Mommy Min Bernardo, also cannot help but become emotional while Kath was talking during the contract signing of the actress with ABS-CBN.
