Lolit Solis, in a recent post on her Instagram account, expressed sadness at what happened to the last movie of Ronaldo Valdez.
It can be recalled that the multi-awarded veteran actor passed away in December, about a month before his last and final movie was released in cinemas.
In her post recently, the showbiz columnist said that like many other new local films, the last movie of the late actor is not doing well in terms of earnings at the box office.
“I feel so sad Salve.

She then wished moviegoers would show the same interest like they had during the Metro Manila Film Festival.
The veteran columnist then lamented that it seems followers of stars prefer to watch local shows on TV.
Hay naku, promise, we will help our local showbiz industry di ba Salve at Gorgy,” Manay Lolit declared at the end of her post.
Lolit Solis is an entertainment reporter, talent manager, and host in the Philippines. She is well-known for her frank commentaries about showbiz.
Recently in an Instagram post, Manay Lolit also gave her take on the traffic situation of the Philippines. This came after Coldplay frontman Chris Martin mentioned the crazy traffic in the country. She said that she is somehow liberal and she's not affected by the traffic. The veteran columnist also said that if one could not accept the heavy traffic, then all the more that one could not handle bigger problems in life.
As regards the plight of local movies, the veteran showbiz columnist last December echoed the call of Dingdong Dantes for Filipinos to watch Metro Manila Film Festival movies during the Christmas holidays. The veteran showbiz columnist, in a social media post, said this is one of the ways to bring back life and excitement to Pinoy showbiz. She also said that through this, many would think of producing new movies. Manay Lolit then revealed what experts said about the showbiz industry.
