Herlene Budol’s new statement released on X, formerly Twitter, is currently making the rounds on social media.

In the statement, the actress and beauty queen cleared her name as she continues to get dragged into an ongoing controversy.

The Kapuso star also mentioned that she came from a broken family and that her grandparents raised her well.

She likewise underscored, “Hindi ako ganung babae,” and revealed that she even received indecent proposals several times, but she opted to reject them.

“Pero hindi ako ganung babae sa mga binabatikos sa akin. FYI nakadalawang national pageant na ako marami nag propose ng indecent proposal sa akin ng malaking halaga.”

As per Herlene, she thinks her career is going well and she is willing to work hard for money.

“Pero inisip ko nasa maayos naman karera ko at gusto ko pinag hihirapan indi yung one tym big tym.”

Herlene Budol, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian, and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin” and later became a host. Herlene was first runner-up and won several minor awards at the 2022 Binibining Pilipinas pageant. She was also crowned as Miss Philippines Tourism 2023 in the recent Miss Grand Philippines pageant. Herlene played the lead role in Kapuso afternoon series "Magandang Dilag."
