The two Kapuso personalities were asked by the YouLOL team whether it is okay to keep memorabilia from an ex-partner. While the question appeared simple at first, their answers revealed very different perspectives on what should happen to things left behind after a relationship ends.

Barbie initially responded to the wording of the question with humor.

“Memorabilia. Bakit na tegi ba?” the Kapuso star joked.

Sassa, meanwhile, immediately connected the question to something she had recently experienced. The content creator revealed that she had just returned belongings to her former partner.

“Nakakatawa kasi kakabalik ko lang ng gamit ng ex ko,” she said.

She explained that she would rather not keep such items because her former partner could eventually ask for them back.

“So hindi po. Dahil kukunin din naman niya sa huli.”

Barbie, however, appeared more open to keeping certain things from a past relationship. For her, the decision could depend on the nature of the relationship and the item involved.

“Depende doon sa karelasyon. Minsan kasi maganda naman talaga 'yung binigay. So 'wag nang ibalik. Para sa iyo naman,” she expressed.

Her answer suggested that not everything associated with an ex necessarily needs to be returned, particularly when the item was genuinely given as a gift.

Still, Barbie had one important condition before someone decides to keep something that came from a former partner. She stressed the need to make sure there are no outstanding payments attached to the item.

“Basta siguraduhin mong fully paid na niya. Baka ikaw pa ang habulin.”

The lighthearted exchange gave both celebrities a chance to share their personal takes on a situation many people can relate to after a breakup.

While Sassa preferred returning her former partner’s belongings, Barbie pointed out that some gifts may be worth keeping—provided that the person who gave them has completely settled any payments connected to them.

Their contrasting answers added an unexpectedly candid moment to the game show’s pre-game segment.

Barbara "Barbie" Forteza (born July 31, 1997) is an acclaimed Filipina actress, television host, and commercial model, widely recognized as GMA Network's "Kapuso Primetime Princess." Rising to prominence as a child star in the 2009 adaptation of Stairway to Heaven, she has since earned critical acclaim for hit television series like The Half Sisters and Maria Clara at Ibarra, alongside international film accolades like the Best Actress award at the Fantasporto International Film Festival.

In another report, Barbie Forteza drew attention after joking that she would want to get married in Las Vegas “para may divorce” during the media conference for “Saving Cherry.” Lawyer and talent manager Atty. Joji Alonso responded by explaining that a divorce obtained abroad is generally not recognized when both spouses are Filipino citizens. Alonso cited the Philippines’ nationality principle and discussed the exception that may apply when one spouse is a foreign national. Their exchange later prompted mixed reactions online, while Barbie has yet to publicly address the discussion.
