Lolit Solis, in a recent post on her Instagram account, expressed her surprise when she learned that Andrea Brillantes’ mom, Mabel Gorostiza, went to the columnist’s house to bring gifts.

The veteran showbiz columnist then said her house is located somewhere in Fairview, which could be considered too far away from the home of Andrea.
“Naloka ako ng magising ako at sabihin ni Mel na pumunta ang mother ni Andrea Brillantes sa bahay para maghatid ng regalo,” Manay Lolit said in her post.
The columnist then said that she and Andrea haven’t met yet in person, nor got the chance to talk on the phone, yet, which contributed to her surprise on learning the mom of Andrea went to her home.

“Never pa kami nag meet ni Andrea Brillantes o nag usap sa phone. Kaya naman nagulat ako na nakapunta sa bahay ko napakalayo ng mother niya,” the veteran showbiz columnist further said.
She then expressed her appreciation for the gesture and at the same time, praised Andrea for being “very transparent” and one who doesn’t care what people say.
“Sobra appreciation ko na nagawa nila ito. Sinabi ko na hanga ako sa ugali ni Andrea na very transparent, at parang no care sa mga gusto niyang gawin,” she said.
“Kasi nga mas gusto ko ang mga tao na unconventional, hindi iyon sumusunod lang sa rules ng society dahil nag iingat sa image nila. Basta ang mantra mo sa buhay kahit medyo selfish iyon dapat mauna iyon gusto mo, iyon kung saan ka happy. You owe it to yourself first bago sa iba,” Manay Lolit added.
The columnist explained this is one of the reasons why she admires Andrea and stood pat on her belief that she will be one of the hottest stars in Pinoy showbiz.
“Kaya humanga ako kay Andrea dahil sa ganuon niyang attitude. At kahit ano pa sabihin I stand with my gut feel na Andrea Brillantes will be one of our hottest stars basta lagi siyang professional at mahusay makisama,” the columnist said.
“Hindi siya maapektuhan ng mga tsismis at intriga dahil very open siya sa kanyang ginagawa. So be it, hintayin lang natin at makikita natin na tama ang prediction ko,” she added.
Manay Lolit also praised the mom of Andrea for being very supportive and then greeted them a Merry Christmas.
“Lalo pa nga at very supportive ang mother niya sa career ng anak niyang si Andrea. Thanks again and Merry Pasko Andrea Brillantes and family. Bongga,” Manay Lolit concluded.
Andrea Brillantes is a Filipina actress who started out her career as a child star and rose to fame. Her popularity was further propelled when she played the role of 'Marga' in the hit teleserye “Kadenang Ginto.” She was a member of The Gold Squad, along with her “Kadenang Ginto” co-stars Francine Diaz, Kyle Echarri, and Seth Fedelin. Andrea used to be in a romantic relationship with basketball player Ricci Rivero until their breakup around June of 2023.
The young actress recently found herself being dragged into the KathNiel breakup issue, with many netizens accusing her online of being involved in the breakup of Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo. Despite the controversy, Andrea continues forward with her career, showing professionalism in her work as a celebrity.
