Ogie Diaz is an actor, comedian, entertainment reporter, and talent manager. He was known as “Pekto” in the popular TV sitcom, “Palibhasa Lalaki.” He is also behind the YouTube channel “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update.” He became a successful talent manager and once handled the careers of Vice Ganda and Liza Soberano. He is now one of the most sought-after vloggers.
In the same episode of “Ogie Diaz Showbiz Update,” he also expressed his opinion on the recent long post of Xian Lim about how people should be more circumspect about the news they hear. According to Ogie, celebrities with real-life relationships should at least give their fans an assurance that the news about them isn’t true. He also said that such celebrities “owe it to their fans” to at least explain their real status. The showbiz reporter and talent manager also said that there are only three words that Xian needed to say in order to assure their fans.
Previously, he released a statement about his controversial report about an alleged rumor about Daniel Padilla, Kathryn Bernardo, and Andrea Brillantes. It can be recalled that Ogie was subjected to bashing and was even accused of being a fake news peddler because of that report. He clarified, however, that he was not the source of the rumor, and like most, he also hoped the rumors were not true.
