John Lloyd Cruz was asked by Boy Abunda on GMA’s ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ about the rumors that he is in a romantic relationship with artist Isabel Santos.
The actor confirmed the rumors, saying that he and Isabel are boyfriend and girlfriend.
"Si Isabel ay girlfriend ko. Boyfriend niya ako,” John Lloyd stated.

He also described himself and his girlfriend as “boring people” who met each other years ago when John Lloyd visited Isabel’s art gallery. This happened when John Lloyd had a temporary break from showbiz.

“We’re boring people. Wala kaming maikukuwento. Ganyan lang kami.
“Matagal na kaming magkakilala. Gallery nila yung una kong pinasok na gallery.
“At the time na bago pa lang akong tumigil with ABS-CBN, napadpad ako sa pag-e-explore ng arts so gallery nila yung una kong napasok.
“Sila yung mga una kong nakilala. Yung family nila, kung sino yung patrons ng gallery nila. Matagal na kaming magkakilala.
“We were talking before but hindi nag-evolve into something ideal for us, at the time. Mula noon, present na rin siya sa buhay ko,” John Lloyd explained.
John Lloyd Cruz is considered one of the Philippines' most famous, successful, and talented actors. He has a son named Elias Modesto with his former partner, Ellen Adarna, who is now married to actor Derek Ramsay. Even though John Lloyd and Ellen are no longer together, they have chosen to work together in raising their son Elias, showing their commitment to co-parenting despite their breakup.
Earlier, Isabel Santos greeted John Lloyd's father on his birthday with a heartfelt Instagram post. She also shared photos from the joyful gathering where she is with her parents, John Lloyd, and the birthday celebrant. Furthermore, Isabel expressed gratitude to the father of her boyfriend. "Happy birthday po Tito Chito. Salamat po sa pagmamahal," she wrote in her post.
John Lloyd was among the celebrities present at Maja Salvador and Rambo Nuñez’s wedding last July 31. The actor flew to Bali and attended the couple’s big day with his son, Elias. Lloydie then took a social media and shared a photo of him and Elias at the chapel where Maja and Rambo exchanged “I dos.” The father-son duo’s dashing looks for the special occasion can be seen in the lovely snap.
