Kris Bernal, in a recent post on her Instagram account, celebrated the first month of Baby Hailee Lucca.

The actress gave birth to the adorable baby girl last August 15 through a CS procedure.

“And in a blink, my #LittleSunshine, @haileelucca, is one month old ☝ Celebrating a month of pure newborn bliss while soaking in every second of it!” Kris wrote.

The newly-minted mom also said that the adorable baby has filled their lives and hearts with purpose and love.

“She has filled our lives and hearts w/ so much love and purpose these past weeks! ,” the actress said.

“Love stronger. Days shorter. Nights longer. Home happier! ❤️,” she added.

Kris admitted though that she’s still adjusting to being a mother, with sleep deprivation becoming a common norm.

“There is nothing like the first weeks at home w/ a newborn. Sleep deprivation is real! It's the craziest mix of excitement and exhaustion as we get to know each other,” she said.

“It's quite challeging as me and @haileelucca are both doing things we've never done before. Inhaling the happy, exhaling the hard! I wouldn't change it for the world!” Kris concluded.

In a previous post, Kris expressed her gratitude that she would be able to nurture her newborn with natural breastmilk.
