GMA Integrated News posted on social media a video of Bernadette Sembrano talking about Mike Enriquez.

In the 20-second video, Bernadette shared Mike’s characteristics that she will always remember.

“I guess sometimes ang naaalala natin 'yung ingay, 'yung pagiging sobrang kwela ni Booma,” the Kapamilya newscaster said.

She went on and commended the late veteran broadcast journalist’s valor.

“Quietly, ando'n 'yung kanyang courage. Sabi ko nga, valor na hindi niya ipinagyayabang,” the 'TV Patrol' news anchor expressed.

“So. para sa akin, 'yun 'yong kagandahan ng pagkakaalala ko kay Mike Enriquez,” she added.

Mike Enriquez, or Miguel Castro Enriquez in real life, was a multi-awarded Pinoy television and radio newscaster. He was the president of GMA Network’s regional and radio subsidiary, RGMA Network Inc., and was also the Station Manager of Super Radyo DZBB 594 AM. Mike was also a regular anchor on 24 Oras with Mel Tiangco and Vicky Morales.

Mike’s family will hold a public wake open to supporters of the late veteran broadcast journalist. The public viewing for Mike will take place at a church in Quezon City on September 2. GMA News took to its online platforms and shared details about the wake. Instead of giving flowers, guests are encouraged to donate to the GMA Kapuso Foundation. It can be recalled that Mike passed away on August 29 at the age of 71.
