Nikki Gil has delighted several of her fans and followers on social media after giving them a glimpse into her simple birthday celebration this year.

On Thursday, August 24, the celebrity mom took to her Instagram page, @nikkigil, to share some photos from her birthday party with her family.

Clad in a casual outfit for the day, Nikki looked extra chic and posh on her special day as she wore a pinstriped polo.

She then took photos with her husband, BJ Albert, and their two adorable kids, Finn and Madeline Elle, on her special day.

In the caption of her post, Nikki thanked those who did not forget to greet her on her special day.

"36. Spent most of yesterday nursing a headache (friendly reminder that I am getting old LOL), and had a quiet dinner at home with my 3. Thank you for all the birthday greetings!" she wrote.

Monica Pauline "Nikki" Gil-Albert is a Filipino singer, actress, host, model, and former video jockey. She is known for being part of the afternoon remake of Carlo J. Caparas' Pieta, and also, in 2009, she portrayed Princess Punzalan's role in the afternoon drama Nagsimula sa Puso.

As previously reported by KAMI, Nikki Gil recently came under the spotlight after posting 'then and now' photos with her celebrity friends. On Instagram, the celebrity mom showcased how much their friendship had grown through the years. Included in Nikki's circle are Luis Manzano, Iya Villania, Shaina Magdayao, and Anne Curtis.

Meanwhile, Nikki Gil shared several photos from Madeline Elle's birthday party. On Sunday, October 10, Nikki and BJ Albert's daughter, Madeline, finally turned one year old. The celebrity mom then took to social media to upload the beautiful photos taken by Cocoon Studio. In her online post, celebrity couple Jessy and Luis Manzano greeted Madeline with a happy birthday.
