Lolit Solis took to Instagram to praise multi-awarded actress Kathryn Bernardo and newly-minted international actress Dolly de Leon in their new movie, “A Very Good Girl.”

The veteran showbiz columnist also took time to state her observation in the new role of Kathryn.

“Bongga ang A Very Good Girl nila Kathryn Bernardo at Dolly de Leon di ba Salve. Sa presscon pa lang marami ng pa drama like medyo formal ang presentation, medyo dressy ang outfit ng attendees, at maraming first para sa isang usual presscon,” Manay Lolit said in her post.

She also pointed out that the presscon of the movie is a good sign that Pinoy showbiz is becoming active again.

“Ang bongga nga outfit ni Salve na naka black lace sa lunch dahil nga pupunta sa presscon nila Kathryn at Dolly. Magandang senyales ito para sa showbiz at sana nga simula na ito ng muling pagiging active ng showbiz,” the veteran showbiz columnist said.

Manay Lolit then stated her observation about Kathryn’s new role, which she said is a departure from her “loveteam roles.”

“At bagay kay Kathryn ang pagbabago sa kanyang career na mula sa loveteam ay medyo matured na ang role na ginawa sa project nila ni Dolly. Watch natin ito Salve at Gorgy, bongga,” Manay Lolit said.

Kathryn Bernardo is one of the most popular and acclaimed Filipina film and television actresses. She is considered one of the most successful celebrities because of her blockbuster movies. She holds the highest-grossing Filipino Film of All Time, "Hello, Love, Goodbye". It also became the highest-grossing Filipino Film in the Middle East, Australia, and North America. She is currently in a relationship with Daniel Padilla.

The actress was also the subject of an episode in “Cristy Ferminute.” The columnist belied talks circulating online about the alleged vaping of Kathryn Bernardo. Rumors swirled about the supposed vaping of the actress after an alleged video of her doing it surfaced online. The said video, according to Cristy, was taken from the 10th floor of a building somewhere in Alabang, Muntinlupa City. The veteran showbiz columnist said that she has been monitoring Kathryn from the time she was a little kid up to now and she can say that the actress has never tried smoking.

Min Bernardo took to Twitter and apologized to her daughter, Kathryn Bernardo. The mom told Kath that she was sorry because the latter has been exhausted for days due to work. Min then said that while she may not be physically present, she keeps tabs on her daughter through the latter's PA. The mom then assured Kath that they were already more than halfway through the movie and prayed for a good outcome of the movie.
