Pia Wurtzbach, di pa handang magkaanak sa ngayon: “I do wanna have children one day, not now”

- During the interview, Anas asked Pia if she had ever wanted to have children and the beauty queen thanked him for asking the question

- She then answered the query of Anas and explained why she had such an outlook in life as regards children and motherhood

Pia Wurtzbach, in an interview recently with Emirati entrepreneur and mentor, Anas Bukhash, admitted that while she too wanted to have children in the future, but just not now at this point in time.

The beauty queen was the featured guest of the businessman-mentor in his show, ABTalks, where the two discussed a number of topics from Pia’s childhood to what’s keeping her busy these days.

During the interview, Anas asked Pia if she had ever wanted to have children.

Before answering, the beauty queen thanked him for asking the question and then proceeded to give her answer.

“Do you wanna have children?” Anas asked.

“Yeah! Thanks for asking ‘cause you know, people just ask me, ‘when are you going to have kids?’” Pia answered.

“I don’t think it’s for everyone,” the entrepreneur-mentor added.

Pia then answered that she too wanted to have kids, just not now at this point in her career and life.

“Yes! I do want to have children one day. Not now! Not at this point in my career and in my life. And Jeremy is also fine with that, but in the future, we would love to have a family,” she said.

“As an empowered woman if you will, I think your worth as a woman is not measured by you being able to bear a child. Like there are really so many more things to a woman, than just bearing children,” the beauty queen added.

“Some women do not want to have kids, some women want to be amazing at their careers. Maybe they want to take care of their parents all their lives… maybe they just have different plans, but that doesn’t mean that a woman is less valuable or less capable,” Pia said.

Pia Wurtzbach is a Filipino-German actress, model, and Miss Universe 2015 titleholder. She is one of the four Filipinas to earn the title. She is now married to travel entrepreneur Jeremy Jauncey. They had their wedding in Seychelles.

It can be recalled that the beauty queen is very active on various social media websites, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. According to the former Ms. Universe queen, it is on one of these sites that she encountered a very unpleasant experience, which traumatized her. The beauty queen expressed hopes for the new social media app that she tried out just now, wishing that it will be troll-free.

She also took to social media and answered the question of a follower as to who she is behind the camera. The beauty queen and former Ms. Universe held a Q&A recently where she would answer questions sent in by her followers. One of her followers might have been wondering how Pia is when there’s no camera and so asked her about it. Pia gamely answered the question in a joking manner so her follower would have a grasp of who she is off cam.
