Pia Wurtzbach, shinare worst experience sa isang socmed platform: “Got so much hate… Stalked and ridiculed”

Pia Wurtzbach, in a post on the new social media app ‘Threads’, shared what she referred to as her worst experience on a different socmed platform.

It can be recalled that the Ms. Universe 2015 is very active on various social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.

In a screengrab by FashionPulis of Pia’s post on Threads, she identified Twitter as the platform where she encountered a very unpleasant experience, indicating that it traumatized her.

According to Pia in her Thread post, she was “getting hate tweets literally every 30 seconds” when she voice out her opinion on a then-congressional bill.

“Getting hate tweets literally every 30 seconds in 2020 when I voiced out my opinion on the Anti-Terror Bill,” Pia posted on Threads.

“I remember not even shading the government or the President. I just tweeted a hashtag and got so much hate,” she added in her Threads post.

In a similar report by GMA News Online, the news item quoted Pia in her post as encountering a person reading into her single post and comment, adding that she would be stalked and ridiculed by that individual.

“They would also message the endorsements [and] brands I work with to destroy me with made up narratives,” she said in her Threads post as quoted by GMA News Online.

PhilStar, another news media site, also reported on one of the worst things, as narrated by Pia, said to her by a user on Twitter

“One of the worst was ‘sasaksan ko ng tubo p*ke mo, bobo ka walang alam’,” the beauty queen recalled.

As for the new social media app, Threads, that she recently tried out, Pia expressed hopes that its maker, Meta, would keep trolls out.

Pia Wurtzbach is a Filipino-German actress, model, and Miss Universe 2015 titleholder. She is one of the four Filipinas to earn the title. She is now married to travel entrepreneur Jeremy Jauncey. They had their wedding in Seychelles.

Several days ago, she also took to social media and answered the question of a follower as to who she is behind the camera. The beauty queen and former Ms. Universe held a Q&A recently where she would answer questions sent in by her followers. One of her followers might have been wondering how Pia is when there’s no camera and so asked her about it. Pia gamely answered the question in a joking manner so her follower would have a grasp of who she is off cam.

In the same Q&A session, she also became brutally honest when asked what her pet peeve was and she said that it would be people who do not know how to say please and thank you. She then described those individuals who are rude to waiters, security guards and those in the service industry. Queen P said that she catches people doing it all the time and it would always make her cringe.
