He is a member of the comedy trio Tito, Vic and Joey that has made several comedy movies and TV shows. In recent days, Joey took to Twitter and posted a hugot about their current show. He said that they are currently breaking records because they are the only show that goes head-on with their own show. The comedian also said that on Saturday, they will be having a double celebration. It will be the 44th anniversary of "Eat Bulaga" on Saturday, July 29.

In a separate post, former Senate President Tito Sotto was asked as to what case they filed against TAPE, Inc., the producer of "Eat Bulaga." The former legislator said that they're fighting for the show's copyright, adding that trademarks can be cancelled. He also pointed out that TAPE allegedly is trying to fool the people into believing they own "Eat Bulaga." Tito said they can have their noontime show but they shouldn't use the name, referring to "Eat Bulaga."
