Herlene Budol, sinabi ba’t malungkot kahit nanalong Ms. Tourism Philippines: “Punong-puno ako ng sama ng loob”

Herlene Budol, in a video she recently uploaded on her YouTube channel, Herlene Hipon, revealed why she looked sad in photos that spread online even though she won as Ms. Tourism Philippines 2023.

The beauty queen and comedienne also disclosed what she was feeling at that very moment.

She said denied rumors that she was sad, saying that she’s actually very happy she won.

“Pagkatapos kong manalo ng Ms Tourism Philippines, ayan suotin natin. Wow. Ano'ng hindi masaya? Masaya ako meron akong ganito, diba. Ms Tourism Philippines 2023 sinong hindi sasaya dito?” Herlene said.

“Sobrang saya ko po. Sobra sobra sobra sobra sobra,” she added.

The beauty queen then proceeded to say why she looked sad, explaining that she’s just trying hard not to cry.

“Una sa lahat bakit malungkot ang beshy ko kasi sobra ho akong nagpipigil ng luha ko,” she said.

Herlene then proceeded to also talk about behind the scene happenings that let her to feel bad about herself.

“After ko pong sumagot, nagpalit po agad kami ng gown nun, and then sumagot muli ako, panibagong bakal na naman, Ibig sabihin ho, punong-puno ako ng sama ng loob sa sarili ko. Ayun,” she said.

“Wala ho akong makausap. Ang nakakausap ko lang ang sarili ko. Herlene, I'm so proud of you, ang galing mo t*ng ina you did a great job,” Herlene explained.

Herlene Budol, also known as 'Hipon Girl', is an actress, comedian, and social media star who broke through in showbiz as a contestant on “Wowowin” and later became a host.

Earlier, the former manager of the beauty queen, Wilbert Tolentino sent a message to his former talent. He expressed how proud he is of his achievements with Herlene during their time together. The businessman also promised to help Herlene in understanding new contracts and if she needs an advice on anything. Finally, he encouraged Herlene to visit his home if she ever needs his help, promising to be her “mima,” guardian angel, and protector forever.

Meanwhile, in Herlene's latest vlog, answered the question of why her former manager, Wilbert Tolentino, left her. She said that Wilbert simply had more things to prioritize. The beauty queen mentioned that among those that need to be prioritized were his health and his family. Herlene also revealed that based on their conversation, Wilbert was still willing to help her.
